What is magnolia for?
A flower... Duh... Just kidding!!
My childhood horse was a firery sorrel Quarter Horse mare. Her name was Flash. She was my heart horse. I lost her suddenly to a twist colic in 2014. She was a nothing special, a Mississippi bred gal, but was everything in a horse to me.
Fast forward a few years - I'm working with a feisty little buckskin mare & am slowly falling for her. It's the first time I've shown heart interest in a particular horse again. She then gets a devastating leg injury. She would never ride again, BUT we managed to get her breeding sound through a year of recovery. [That's a whole other story in itself!]
I begin the pursuit of finding her a suitable match & I some across a lovely stud that is a descendant of Magnolia Bar. Flash's grandsire was Magnolia Bar! My heart leaps & today we have a gorgeous little palomino mare. For me - that pedigree connection means something special.

My passion for horses ignited at a young age, & there's simply no such thing as a "phase" when it comes to loving all things equine—Whether it’s the charm of miniature horses, the power of full-sized draft! I still squeal “Horsey Trailer” while driving down the road, & whether I’m capturing life's candid moments behind the lens or playing in Photoshop for endless creative hours, my world is fueled by a deep love for horses.
